The term -"YouTube Short"- covers a number of videos that we have placed on YouTube in which you can briefly get acquainted with the routes described on this website.
These short films only show the route we have driven, without background information regarding places passed and visited highlights and campsites, etc.
If you are looking for more báckground information, it is better to view the routes described on the homepage.
At the end of each YouTube video you will see a shortcut that quickly takes you to the next, connecting video.
You can also use the shortcuts below if you would like to see more of one specific route that interests you.

This video is the first of a series of five describing a round trip from Vancouver through a.o. Dawson Creek, Hinton, and Kamloops, and it covers the route from Vancouver to Clinton.

This video covers the route from Clinton through the Cariboo Mountains to Dawson Creek at the start of the world famous Alaska Highway.

From Dawson Creek, this video takes you through places like Beaverlodge, Grande Prairie and Grande Cache to the "Gateway to the Rocky's", Hinton.

From Hinton the journey goes via Jasper in Jasper Nat.Park and past Canada's highest mountain peak in the Rocky Mountains, the 3954 mtr high Mount Robson and past Wells Gray Provincial Park to Kamloops.

The final video in this series covers the journey from Kamloops through Cache Creek and Lytton to Hope and back to Vancouver.

This series of road movies shows a round trip that leads from Calgary via Waterton Lakes Nat.Park to Osoyoos and from there through the wine and fruit region of the Okanagan Valley to Glacier and Yoho Nat. Park back to Calgary.
This part includes the departure from Calgary and then via Drumheller and Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump to the beautiful Waterton Lakes National Park.

In this second part, the journey leads from Waterton Lakes via highway 3 (The Crowsnest Highway) to Anarchist Mountain Lookout just before Osoyoos. You drive almost parallel to the American border for almost the entire journey.

The final video of this series runs from Osoyoos across the Okanagan Valley through places like Penticton, Summerland, Kelowna and Vernon to join Sicamous on Highway 1 and return to Calgary through the National Parks of Glacier and Yoho.
